Occupational therapy

From children to adults: we strengthen the abilities you need for an independent everyday life, at school, at work and at home.

What occupational therapy does

Capable in everyday life

Occupational therapy supports people whose ability to act in daily life is limited or at risk: after illness or injury, with developmental delays, or with age-related limitations. The focus is on the activities that matter to you: getting dressed, writing, working, playing.

We offer the entire occupational therapy spectrum, from treating infants to therapy in old age, covering every form of treatment in the German statutory catalog.

Occupational therapy in everyday life: cooking, fine motor skills, gardening and writing
Our treatment types

Every prescribed form of treatment

Motor-functional treatment

Targeted therapy for limitations in mobility, strength and fine motor skills, e.g. after injuries, surgery or with rheumatic conditions.

Sensorimotor-perceptual treatment

Treatment of disorders of perception and movement control, for example after a stroke or with childhood developmental disorders.

Cognitive training

Neuropsychologically oriented treatment to improve concentration, memory, attention and action planning.

Psycho-functional treatment

Stabilizing psychosocial abilities: daily structure, resilience and the capacity to act in everyday life.

We additionally use thermotherapy (heat and cold applications) whenever it supports your treatment.

Our focus areas

Expertise that makes the difference

Hand therapy: targeted exercise for hand and fingers

Hand therapy

Our hand therapy experts treat injuries and conditions of the hand and arm: after surgery and fractures, with tendon and nerve injuries, arthritis or rheumatism. The goal is full use of your hand in everyday life and at work.

Occupational therapy with a child during playful practice

Pediatrics: occupational therapy for children

From concentration to pencil grip: we support children with ADHD and attention disorders, graphomotor difficulties, preschool readiness and sensory processing disorders. Parents are closely involved in the therapy.

Neurological everyday-skills training in the practice

Neurological everyday training

After a stroke or with progressive neurological conditions, we specifically train the activities that matter for your independence: dressing, cooking, writing, shopping, up to real-life practice in our therapy kitchen.
