Frequently asked questions

Here are the answers to the questions we hear most often. Yours is not among them? Just give us a call.

How do I get an appointment?

Just call us at +49 911 240 654 00 (reception staffed Mon-Fri, 8:00-18:00) or send us an e-mail. Thanks to our professional scheduling there are no long waiting times.

Do you offer home visits?

Yes. If you cannot come to the practice, we also treat you at home or in your care facility. Important: home visits must be prescribed by your doctor (noted on the prescription). Scheduling has its own dedicated coordinator: please call our home-visit number +49 911 240 654 02 exclusively for this.

Do I need a prescription from a doctor?

For services covered by health insurance you need a medical prescription. Alternatively, our licensed sectoral Heilpraktiker may treat you after their own assessment; the doctor on our team can also issue a private prescription directly at the practice. More on the self-pay services page.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Your prescription (if you have one), your co-payment exemption certificate (if you have one), comfortable clothing and a towel. If you have medical reports, feel free to bring them along.

Does my health insurance cover the costs?

With a medical prescription we bill your statutory or private health insurance directly. Statutory patients pay the usual co-payment unless exempt.

How do I get to the practice?

We are located right at Fürth main station (Bahnhofplatz 11). Local and regional trains, the U1 subway and several bus lines stop nearby. Parking is available at Bahnhofplatz and in the surrounding parking garages. You will find a map and all details under Contact & directions.

Is the practice wheelchair accessible?

Yes. Our practice is fully accessible, whether you come with a wheelchair, rollator or stroller. Our reception is on the third floor – an elevator takes you directly up to it.

Do you treat children?

Yes, pediatrics is one of our focus areas. Our therapists treat children of all ages and involve you as parents closely in the therapy.

What if I need to cancel an appointment?

Booked appointments are binding. Please cancel by phone at least 24 hours before the appointment, so we can offer the time to other patients. For later cancellations we may have to invoice the appointment privately.

Which specialist fields do you offer?

We offer physiotherapy and occupational therapy for children and adults, with a neurological focus (Bobath, PNF). This is complemented by the full orthopedic spectrum: exercise therapy, manual therapy, device-based training, TMJ treatment and lymphatic drainage, plus specialists for Schroth therapy, pelvic floor therapy, rheumatism and cystic fibrosis. In occupational therapy, hand therapy and pediatrics round out the offer.

Still have questions?

We are happy to help you personally, by phone or directly at the practice.
